When Amanda, an  occupational therapist, kisses Rose, a seventy-year-old nursing home patient  with Alzheimer’s, time starts to unravel. It spins backward as Rose  remembers Jean’s wedding, a family vacation to  Chicago, and the red-headed  woman with whom she made love many years before. While Rose searches for her own identity in the past and present and Amanda tries to reach her, Rose’s  daughter Jean, having seen Amanda undress in front of Rose, is determined to  put an end to such “nonsense.”

The San Francisco Recital, also titled ...Not Just Classical, was a success!

The Recital featured both worlds of Tamar's repertoire, classical songs consisting of Italian Art songs, and some of Tamar's strongest repertoire, Russian Romances.

The second half of the recital featured Cabaret music, including songs by Kurt Weil, Cole Porter, and many others.
